Rugs & Door Mats voucher codes, coupons & deals

Where a rug or mat will sit decides almost everything about which one to buy. A door mat by the front door needs to trap mud and cope with weather, a hallway runner has to take constant foot traffic, and a living-room rug can put comfort and looks first. This page gathers current rug and door mat deals from UK retailers, and the offers change as new deals appear.

Measure the space and leave a border of bare floor around a rug, as a rug that is too small makes a room feel cramped. Pile height matters: shaggy rugs feel soft underfoot but show wear and hold dust, while low-pile and flatweave rugs are easier to clean and suit hallways and homes with pets. For door mats, look for a rubber backing that grips the floor, a coir or bristle surface for scraping off dirt outside, or a washable absorbent mat for inside. Non-slip backing is worth checking on any rug laid on wood or tiles.

Machine-washable rugs and mats can save a lot of effort, especially in busy households. A separate anti-slip underlay is cheap and helps rugs stay flat and last longer. Prices and stock change, so check the final price and terms at the retailer.
