Dinnerware & Cutlery Sets voucher codes, coupons & deals

Count how many people you regularly feed, then add a few extra place settings for guests and breakages, as sets are usually sold for four, six or eight people. This page lists current dinnerware and cutlery deals from UK retailers, from stoneware and porcelain dinner sets to stainless steel cutlery and unbreakable plastic sets for children and picnics, and the offers change as new deals appear.

For plates and bowls, the material makes the biggest difference. Porcelain is light and chip-resistant, stoneware is heavier with a more rustic look, and melamine or other plastics suit outdoor use and young children. Check what each set includes, as some count side plates, bowls and mugs while others only include dinner plates, and confirm they are dishwasher and microwave safe. For cutlery, 18/10 stainless steel resists rust and keeps its shine better than cheaper grades, and the weight and balance of each piece affect how it feels to use.

Compare the price per place setting rather than the headline price, and check whether matching pieces can be bought individually later to replace breakages. A set with a few extra pieces can be better value than a cheaper minimal one. Prices and stock change, so check the final price and terms at the retailer.
